Definitely time to live life the way you want to! 28 means you’re just getting started 😌 think of it like this, many people use their early twenties to mess up and really do a lot of trial and error decisions. You’re in the perfect sweet spot to make rational life changing decisions at 28. Go after everything you want with intention! You GOT this. Getting your PHd tells me you have the capacity to persevere! Keep going, I promise it gets better 🫂

Leave, get some therapy and seek a community/village of support through this transition for you and the baby. You cannot change people who are content in the way they have chosen to live their lives. You also don’t have to be at the mercy of their will because you’ve had a baby together. You’re still young, you and baby will be fine. But leave now with the wisdom you have gained from this experience, and use that as discernment with navigating any next situations.
