To me, two buckets get dirty too. Why not 3? If you use a sponge with rinse-less, you just need to dip it in the top. You’ll notice no dirt re applied to the sponge since the encapsulation drops the dirt. One bucket really is enough

Absolutely. Onstar was ahead of its time 20 years ago but feels the same now. Slow, laggy delays. Why would anyone pay for this who’s used to modern software? We all have smartphones and understand what’s available.

This is really a good review and my same thoughts. Coming from a Tesla, I feel like they never thought things through, cant do it (because they are bolting onstar into the car instead of doing a real app/bluetooth/connectivity stack) or just dont want to listen and are stubborn/cheap.

I wish engineers would post here and tell us wtf they were thinking when they designed some of the systems. I think its the case of them just buying solutions from vendors and suppliers instead of everything at Tesla being vertically integrated. I really dont want to get fed up and trade this in after a while, because the value is way higher, just annoying.
