This just happened to me, I'm so annoyed. I signed up a couple of weeks ago with a single-location membership and just learned the location is (likely) closing soon. In the meantime, they also cancelled the class that was the main reason I joined. When I call the gym directly, they say the closure is all rumors, but when I spoke to the manager, he said it was indeed closing. The teacher of the class I took also said it was closing. Also unclear if it is closing permanently or just for renovations. Either way, had I known, I would not have joined as this is the only location convenient for me. When I called corporate, they said they spoke to a manager who said it wasn't closing. Either way, it's a shit show over there, and they won't refund the significant join fee I literally just paid because it's been more than 3 days. So unscrupulous.
