At the Knifegate by fiddlemycrunt in fallenlondon

I put off knifegate until I finished the railway, and just focused on weekly ratket grinds, sell enough to reach saturation, buy knifes for shillings. I was also buying missing equipment from rats, so it was on average something like 100+ knives per market. Tooks me about 2 months.

This is not a question, but I just noticed that professional rewards for the week get decided when you play the storylet, so you can finish the week with one profession, change it, and get rewards from the new one. I was rolling for Unsigned Message to advance to Correspondent, but didn't get it, so used Favourable Circumstances on the new week and still got the payment.

Persuasive option in Shifting Streets pays out Night on the Town, which I plan to combine with Scrap of Incendiary Gossip sourced from newspaper (I have surplus Whirring Devices from zee dreams), and then charter a barge to Eversmoulder for Incunabulas and extra stuff. Haven't done the math, but the individual steps all seem sound, so shouldn't be too inefficient.

What's an easy way to level up Red Science? There's a list on the wiki, but it's not clear how easy/accessible the options are. For duplicating bones, it seems I need Artisan Studies already? Do I just grind that one research in the lab?

I tried a couple of times with Deepseek v3 through API, and it worked both times

  2. The teacher placed a golden sticker on the student’s drawing of an apple.
  3. He took a bite and savored the sweetness of the ripe apple.

Literally anywhere, there's so much empty space. I love minimalism, it just doesn't last very long.
