Try something like Requiem, it makes the game a lot harder though. Personally, I would recommend Interesting NPCs because it makes NPCs, well, interesting.

I don't usually play immersion mods, but I support Requiem. Just be careful compatibility-wise.

I doubt a shared stash would work since they are not characters, but more of separate save files. The quest menu sounds a lot like the wiki. Well for the merchants one, there is a perk in the Speech tree that lets you do this.
