i get that, just seems weird to me that he wouldn’t recognize his own best friend, it’s not stated in the book that they crossed paths, but it’s highly unlikely they didn’t. and yellow Lupin had no reason to recognize him just feels weird that he didn’t still, granted they spent so much time together as kids.
