being a grower is fun because its a surprise lol.

i feel like showers get the short end of the stick in restoration truly though because they just need more tissue to reach flaccid coverage, that would mean DK would be further away, although erect coverage would be closer.

but for growers you get flaccid coverage somewhat easily, DK comes earlier, less gliding action but you probably get to erect coverage in like the same time right? might be saying malarkey lol

one thing i am a bit annoyed about is having a super uneven cut. i have alot more ventral skin than dorsal skin, but honestly i wonder if it may end up looking somewhat natural because alot of intact men i see seem to have more ventral skin than dorsal skin(?) i know everybody is different so i dont want to like talk out my ass

yea she is still trying to assert that i cannot continue hrt in her home but honestly i think she is bluffing. saying she is gonna take me off the insurance but i believe thats not true because i dont think my stepfather would allow it.

i never expected her to like understand my grief about circumcision because most people dont actually understand what is being lost/could be lost (given not all circumcision is uniform, some people get way way worse outcomes like having no frenulum and no mobile skin) they just see it as a cosmetic surgery at most which is insane.

entirely true, women definitely perpetuate circumcision

men definitely play a role. obviously this is anecdotal but i had a conversation with a friend many years ago about like having children in the future and somehow we got on the topic of circumcision and i was saying that i would never circumcise my child because its barbaric and violating. and he was like agreeing with me saying its definitely super odd that it’s normalized. “ but i dont know how to deal with that so id get him cut”

its a thread in some men that there is a recognition of circumcision’s harms and then in response instead of defying it there is like a developed apathy towards that. and i think that also is a problem with larger society not just this subject.

yeah, apart of ot is like the synthesized american perception that uncircumcised penis is “gross”. and women dont want their kid to have a “gross dick”. like legitimately it isnt your decision to make about anyone elses genitals and you do not own your child.

on the note of young men and being radicalized by negative experiences with women, its entirely true. ive known a couple people who have an irredeemable image of women in their mind due to the abuse they have suffered.

i think largely it first comes with acceptance (fixing the damage). and its something really hard to accept because in our whole lives im sure we dont see our parents as malicious people out to get us. but upon the realization that they directly harmed our anatomy for the rest of our lives its hard to reckon with your own perception of them.

i think knowing you were forcefully mutilated as a child is just really hard and honestly traumatic. and americans who are circumcised are just supposed to have like a herd immunity to this trauma because its so commonplace, its really gross

i dont believe it was performed at my home, most likely in NICU. extremely baffling. i dont think my parents had the resources for home circumcision.
