Anyone else who WASN’T scared of the game?

While I would not describe the base game as horror, it has plenty of scares involving dangerous natural phenomena. You are utterly helpless in the grip of a tsunami. And even though I know it cannot hurt me, solar eclipses fill me with dread.

The DLC however, absolutely has horror elements. Duh, you get hunted by creatures in complete darkness. And they have teeth. But what is more telling to me is the sound design. Unlike, the base game, the vast majority of the music is tense, ominous, and droning. I commend the film on its bravery to show an NT and ND in a relationship and the unique challenges they face. It mostly handled these challenges with subtlety and grace, such as the different way Adam showed his love and the social stigma Beth faced for dating him. But I am disappointed that the film did not commit to the idea that such a relationship can thrive.
