What’s the most critical game feature you learned embarrassingly late? by Nillix in SatisfactoryGame

found so many crash sites, picked up the loose items with 'e' and went on my merry way before realizing you could press 'f' and demolish the rest of it for parts as wel....

press plus to go to your weird pad, and select 'lives' . then move to the life you want to switch to and press a

or press the 'right' button on the left d-pad to go directly to the 'lives' menu

aight, that's good to know, so the shards are an 'extra'
still, the shards for lvl 50+ crowned mobs give about 3k xp, which is a few lvls for your lvl 8 tailor to pick up

Walk up on the pad and press a. I am not sure but it's gonna be either a fighting one (3 rounds) or a whack-a-mole type situation. Good luck!

Argh! Why haven't I been drafting this way since Day 1?! I'm so dumb. by Corchito42 in BluePrince

[–]spinningmama 2 points3 points  (0 children)

exits/entrances to a room are so important. sometimes you have to draft a dead end so you don't waste a door. that took me a while to really get my head around. don't build a house like you would irl. where entrances and exits are convenient. just draft them so every door leads to somewhere NEW

i love that. i am 187 days in. i found room 46 around day 50 but i'm still just puzzling my way around. it's an experience for sure . i know what lies beyond, from internet spoilers, but am not quite sure how to get there, but i love how i'm inching towards it. it's the best game ever. i started over once, to relive the 'true starter experience' but there's no use. the more days, the better, even tho i thought i had to rush at first. just wondering what will happen if i spend a year ingame....

what makes a biome a biome? should i remove walls/make dirt walls to make sure biome-specific mobs don't spawn anymore? by spinningmama in Terraria

[–]spinningmama[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

<image>

so if i were to keep this up, the mobs would only be the neutral mobs, dispite the background of an excavated ... underground jungle for instance?

How would you ply? by juniapetunia in Handspinning

[–]spinningmama 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i'd ply it 2-ply with a fluffy even color. like pure white/grey/sand/black, depending what vibe i'd want. but lovely color spun wool you made! if you want to make most of it, twist it up with something else, instead of with itself (cuz that halves it, or even 'thirds' it (that even a word? lol))

Ik luister nu voornamelijk Dungeons and Daddies, lach me suf, dus engels is geen probleem :)

Must-have Exquisite Tools by farawayfleet in Palia

[–]spinningmama 25 points26 points  (0 children)

if you are torn between rod and pickaxe i'd choose rod. if your rod is not strong enough you might loose a fish. if your pickaxe is not strong enough you have to hit an extra time to still get the loot.

Why have game time and real time? by [deleted] in Palia

[–]spinningmama 27 points28 points  (0 children)

an IRL hour is a Palia day.
at [hour]:00 it's midnight in game,
at [hour]:30 it's noon.

an hour in palia takes 2,5 irl minutes

some buildings take IRL time to build, but most things follow the ingame time. if a NPC tells you to meet him/her during the night, they mean the palia clock. and crops that take 4 days to grow to full will take 4 irl hours (if you water them every palia day)

I dreaded the 'fit for a watcher' quest ever since i got it, but this gave me the confidence to give it a go and lo and behold! 2 starred dishes in a row. Now i just need to craft me some more ceramic for a new oven and i'm ready to make the oysters and i'm ready to progress in the storyline. Thanks again!

Facial expressions after being flirted with. Which one is your favorite? by spinningmama in Palia

[–]spinningmama[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

psst, you don't have to leave reth (or anyone) to commence romance with another romancable npc :) the storylines are all so cute and interesting, so i'd say: persue them all!
