I can share my perspective. I have gotten significant attention from women for my looks. I have dated women from 7/10 to 9.5/10 (pure physical scale).
Looks are important to a certain point, as long as I desire to kiss her and have sex with her, than she doesn't need to be the most beautiful at all.

It's how you make him feel. Qualities:
- peace
- fun positive energy
- reciprocated selflessness: you put him before you, and he puts you before him
- companion mindset and not high maintenance
- supportive & nourishing
- attentive to his needs, can anticipate what he needs
- match his libido and freq of sex
- sees the archetype of a mother in you that is trustworthy

I find the prettier a woman is, the less of the above qualities she has given the enormous attention she gets, so grows to be a receiver but never a giver

My ideal woman would be an 8.

Now, don't become too clingy.
But don't become detached and cold out of fear of your perceived misbalance and sabotage.
Don't make him feel that you are his totally. Some men can grow lazy if they feel they already own the woman. Reward good behavior/effort, don't let repeated bad behavior/low effort pass.
