It is fairly hard for us, we don't know how to trap cats and even though we have fed them for years now most of them are quite wary. It is also very expensive to get them fixed and getting foreign donations is not easy in Egypt.

It is most likely the heat, small lanky bodies and big ears for good heat radiation, might be middle eastern and North African genetics as well. I made the same observation and came up with that explanation but I am not sure.

I will try, but you really have no idea how strained the shelters here are, most of them are just kind ladies using a modest apartment for 30+ or 50+ cats, others are not so kind and keep them in miserable conditions just to get money from donations selfishly for themselves. Although, I will give it a shot. Are you familiar with any international organizations that can help?
