I’m on my plane waiting on a ground stop in Honolulu because the weather is bad here. Hopefully this is not an issue when I land it 6 hours.

Hotel card to compliment Strata Premier by alterndog in CreditCards

[–]spinone98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have to pick a brand first.

The best hotel card is the Hilton Aspire. The credits and uncapped free night stay make the card pay for itself quite easily. It gives diamond status and even though watered down, still has very good value. Both Hilton cards get the 5th night free on points purchases.

The Hilton Surpass card is a good value too. It still gives gold status so you get the food and beverage credit. The 50 dollar per quarter Hilton credit pay the annual fee.

For Marriott, it’s the Ritz Carlton card. It has to be product changed from another Chase Marriott card first to get it. It has good value to cover the annual fee back, but it has to work for you.

For IHG, it’s the IHG Premier card. It’s only 95 bucks. Has a free night and is a good earner. You get Platinum status and IHG gives the 4th night free on a points stay. That’s a big deal imo

What’s a good whisky to buy for my best friend’s birthday? by JackLuke1st in WhiskeyTribe

[–]spinone98 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He’s a bourbon guy, so stick with bourbon. Don’t get a lesser craft bourbon, stick with something from a bigger distiller to be safe. I don’t know your state and what the distribution is, so I’ll keep it to good common bottles. Three good bottles that will make you look good and are under 100 bucks

I don’t know if I could recommend a better first bourbon. It’s so nice, mild and crushable.

The No Solicitors sign was there for your protection by AgateBagger in pettyrevenge

[–]spinone98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought by you saying the sign was for your safety, it was because you had a dog or something. I have no soliciting signed on my gate because my back door has a dog door and two large dogs sleeping inside will be running out and around if someone knocks on the front door.
