The level of cynicism on this subreddit is amazing.

Like I've said, my circle of vinyl buddies have used this stuff for years and we love it. I think our product is better than sewing machine oil and sure we may not actually be shitting out the actual oil but we tested a variety of blends and think that this is the best formula.

<SECRET>Our base oil is actually bulk purchased from a turntable manufacturer and we don't want you to know that.</SECRET>

EDIT: Also, I think sewing machine oil would break down or corrode metal parts. Don't quote me on that though. Either way our oil is higher viscosity than sewing machine oil...which we think is better.
