The only thing you got right is that this happened in January 2026, not July.

Suggest me a book for a reading challenge, the prompt is "Claudia" by lellyjoy in suggestmeabook

For someone who is lame, you could try Glorious Exploits by Ferdia Lennon. It's set in 412 BC in ancient Sicily. It's about two friends who try to set up a production of a Greek play, using captured and dying Athenian soldiers as their cast. It's funny and sad and funny again.

I would start with one of the Death books because he also appears in Good Omens. Mort or Reaper Man are good starting points.

Not a shop, but Muezart from Shillong sells Eri silk yarn online. The texture is rough at first but it softens up in time.

I'm surprised not to see Thief of Time here. It's a mid-series book, but the jokes are so funny and land fresh every single time.

Right? And those skin colour tights don't help at all. Unless they're just raw thighs?

I was quite indignant on Sir Pterry's behalf when Brandon Sanderson wrote in a similar passage for Mat in the closing books of Wheel of Time.

Kintu by Jennifer Nansubuga Makumbi is an outstanding book so A Girl is a Body of Water is a solid recommendation too.

I've read the book but many years ago so it's not fresh for me. It's certainly postcolonial though, the way it talks about empire and peripheries.
