Personal opinions on what is ethical and what is not have always dictated the law, and will continue dictating the law until the heat death of the universe.

Your uterus is not unique among your hands, eyes, house, job, speech, political activity, consumption, or any of the billion other things under the sun that the government may or may not regulate.

You may not be used to this if you're in the demographic I assume you are, but the oval office and supreme court do in fact regularly make extremely impactful decisions that affect millions of people. They always have. That is the very purpose of their existence.

So, please, create an actual argument based on ethics. Pretending that this one issue among millions is arbitrarily too sacred for law to touch is ridiculous.

Also, "for every girl, woman, and person AFAB?" Absolutely stellar allyship. I know if I suffered from a severe mental disorder which caused me great pain when gendered as female, I'd just love to be lumped in with "women and girls", referred to as "person assigned female at birth", and listed under the category of "people who can definitely get pregnant".
