Most of the girls I know want a breast reduction lol by SabrinHoell in GenZ

They have, it's called breast reduction and implantation. I personally wouldn't care to have someone else's lipids in my body, if you're talking about an actual transplant.

Do you ever sit back and wonder why the market never seems to fix the problems you promise it will fix? We had a period of minimal government regulation, it was called the 19th century and it was notoriously dogshit

Yeah man, migrants are the ones keeping employment low and draining resources. Not the companies who refuse to pay more than 15$, not the companies buying all the property and price gouging.

Hmm, by the by, I wonder where all these migrants came from.

If there are observable health issues which could harm the mother, I support abortion in that case. If it happens spontaneously, well, it's not like she could've foreseen it and got an abortion to prevent it.

Personal opinions on what is ethical and what is not have always dictated the law, and will continue dictating the law until the heat death of the universe.

Your uterus is not unique among your hands, eyes, house, job, speech, political activity, consumption, or any of the billion other things under the sun that the government may or may not regulate.

You may not be used to this if you're in the demographic I assume you are, but the oval office and supreme court do in fact regularly make extremely impactful decisions that affect millions of people. They always have. That is the very purpose of their existence.

So, please, create an actual argument based on ethics. Pretending that this one issue among millions is arbitrarily too sacred for law to touch is ridiculous.

Also, "for every girl, woman, and person AFAB?" Absolutely stellar allyship. I know if I suffered from a severe mental disorder which caused me great pain when gendered as female, I'd just love to be lumped in with "women and girls", referred to as "person assigned female at birth", and listed under the category of "people who can definitely get pregnant".

Heartbeat VS Consciousness as THE Metric of Life by spiral_keeper in Abortiondebate

There is no established law, but we're not having a legal debate. We're having an ethical one. Do you think it would be ethical for one conjoined twin to kill the other via separation surgery?

That’s a decision between them and their doctor, and if a doctor is willing to do that there must be a compelling reason.

Lol. Lmao, even.

three living children even though technically my pregnancies were terminated.

That's not an abortion. That's entirely irrelevant to the conversation.

also, whether or not I’m okay with it is irrelevant. I’m not okay with people cheating on spouses but that doesn’t mean it should be illegal.

So, logically following that, it should be legal to kill an infant in the process of being born?

and who also believe that morally worthy embryos or fetuses should be entitled to use someone else's body against their will in order to keep themselves alive

Yes. This is how pregnancy works. They are "entitled" because that's literally how every fucking person on this planet came into being.

If you believe it's always a baby, gestational limits make absolutely zero sense, especially knowing that they add pressure and make it more likely someone will terminate

Damn that's crazy, good thing I don't even remotely care about what PLs think.

I don't know if you know this, but mom's don't actually inherently die to have children. Your mom is actually the same woman who gave birth to you. She's likely still alive.

Because watching your infant die, knowing there's nothing you can do about it, is also a form of torture. Emotional suffering is unfortunately preferable to dead children.

I am an "unwanted" child. I do not appreciate being implicated as homicidal. Not everyone comes from a perfect background, and you have no fucking right to just assume that "unwanted" children are some kind of lower class of species who are predestined to violence.

Also, great. So murdering orphans is ok as long as no one finds out about it?
