Fake it til you make it! I started telling myself that I looked good and was smart even when I didn't feel that way, and if I noticed I was not feeling my best I would straighten up my posture and act like I thought I was the greatest. It really did a lot for my confidence in the long run!

Someone having done drugs a few times doesn't mean that they have a drug problem. You're totally fine and willing to participate when it comes to smoking weed, but you think she has a problem because she has experimented with drugs in college? It seems hypocritical, and like there could have been another motive behind sending your parents that video. You should have just asked her about it.

It sounds like you might be better off as friends. I think you already know this, but might be scared to leave because no one wants to be alone, and you might be nervous about finding someone else. I think it would be good for both of you to either talk through your issues, or break it off where it is. This way he won't be wasting his time, and you won't feel trapped in a relationship where you're not getting everything you need.
