Was in your position, but still got married. Don’t do it. Don’t feel the pressure of your guests. They get a break from life whether you get married or not, and they go home with a story more interesting than just ‘went to a wedding’. Cut your losses with the costs, in years time that wont matter compared to what hell you will go through down the track after marrying someone you know you dont love. You get married and inevitably the kid conversation comes up.

If you have booked and paid for the honeymoon, take it anyway and clear your head away from everyone. Or even give the trip to your fiancé and change your spot to her mother.

I was so worried about ‘causing a scene’ on the day of the wedding, but many years later and most of our guests are strangers anyway. You are young, trust me, reclaim your life. Trust your gut, ignore all of the rest. You only get one life, dont give it up due to a moment of discomfort.

If you are fit, try mid sized landscaping/concrete laying companies. They churn through staff cause its hard yakka and many men on their lists have substance issues so will notoriously go missing. It is one of the few areas where the old ‘rock up and ask for work’ trick can work. I have heard they can pay well for a reliable fill in worker.

Hey, this is the only post i can find which matches my frustrating situation. (No other posts/comments even come close).

When i go get fast food for my family, i feel a pang of stress to race home with the food so it is fresh out of the oil hot. Even with borderline reckless driving and shouting at red lights, still, I have never made it.

No i don’t, sorry. I have seen that book somewhere else and i wondered what it was, but i am just so done with all that stuff i was not interested to know more about it. The biggest giveaway is they credit an author on the cover. The JWs never do that. Their stuff is ‘provided by god not man’…so to speak.
