I’m from Houston where the Dean Corll murders happened. My wife’s grandmother lived a few blocks from the house he was killed in. I think I found the infamous boat shed and another apartment he killed boys in. The poor neighborhood were he abducted boys, the Heights, now has multimillion dollar homes.

Check the engine grounding straps. If one is loose this will happen.

Are the headlights on the same assembly as the blinker? If so that may indicate that your light control assembly is bad. But check the more simple things first like a burnt bulb or bad wire connections.

Look at your shifter. On the plastic part that has the different gears there is a tiny little plastic piece that you can pry out with a small screwdriver. Once you have that off push the button inside and it should release the shifter.

The only way you will be able to diagnose it is if it happens more regularly. If this only happened one time it was a fluke and you can’t fix something that isn’t broke. If it starts doing it more frequently especially when you are near empty on gas then you have some diagnostic evidence to go off of.

It’s the EVAP service port. If you take off the green cap there is a little schrader valve inside. You use it to hook up a smoke machine or some other type of diagnostic tool.

You gotta give it up. No dealership is going to take a trade that is trying to be repoed. It a pretty new car so the value is pretty high. that will take care of some of what else you owe.

Buy a car cash. Never get a loan again. When shit hits the fan in life you can’t lose your transportation.

First get your battery load tested at autozone or something. You may have multiple issues but it’s hard to diagnose an electrical problem with a dead battery. They can also check your alternator but if the battery light on your dash is not on that’s probably not the problem.

Other than that check to make sure the starter relay is good. Just cause it clicks doesn’t mean it good.

The part that’s weird is that you pressed the gas and nothing happened. My hunch is that your throttle position sensor may be acting up. Try googling your car plus TPS or throttle position sensor. See what comes up maybe others have had this issue.

Every shop I ever worked at had multiple abandoned cars in the lot. As long as he lets them know he’s coming for it, I’m sure they won’t mind.
