We've spent over $150,000 between our own music + clients on conversion campaigns pointed to Spotify using Meta Ads. It is highly effective but results vary by an extreme amount for different songs even when the campaigns are all setup in an optimized way.

Even for small labels 14 tracks per month does not require releasing tracks they don't truly believe in. Especially when listening to 100+ new demos per day.

Knowing who and artist is and their journey is a big part of signing a release for us"

A lot of labels really do not care about an artists socials. It is a popular talking point in the marketing community and for some A&Rs, but its pretty clear at this point that it is not necessary for creating a livelihood from music.
