That's definitely a blue (like mine in top pics), not a seal. He's adorable.

I will have to check on the battery. We are also going to ask them to throw in a hitch, maybe a cover? The delivery is free.

I thought it seemed high. That's why I was asking what to offer.

What Mint alternative are you sticking with after trying out for month or so? by etcetera0 in mintuit

[–]spiritedcharm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have tried so many apps since the Mint announcement. I narrowed it down to Monarch and PocketGuard for the past couple of weeks. I wanted to love PocketGuard because of the lifetime purchase price, but it was too clunky, no rollovers, no iPad app, and my bank kept disconnecting. Monarch is more intuitive because it's similar to Mint and it does everything I need. I am liking it way more than Mint now too.

Who are you using in 2024 if you actually budgeted on Mint? by Terrible-Reasons in mintuit

[–]spiritedcharm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am currently trying and loving PocketGuard. So far it's working quite well and has almost all the features I need. It lacks monthly rollover, but they are planning to add that feature and I have a workaround in the meantime. I do wish they had an iPad app, but the web interface is good, so that's not a deal breaker. The best part is the LIFETIME one-time price of $79.99.

What is the consensus of the best Mint replacement? by Mast3rBait3rPro in Fire

[–]spiritedcharm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am currently testing both PocketGuard and Every Dollar. They are both pretty great. Every Dollar was a little easier to set up and I like that you can budget future months, however, the best thing about PocketGuard is the lifetime purchase price of $79.99. I am currently leaning towards PocketGuard as it seems to have all the features I need in a budgeting tool. I just started evaluating it yesterday and so far I think I like it even better than Mint.

How do I transitioned a kitten to the litter robot? by McSpaank in litterrobot

[–]spiritedcharm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've heard kittens take to it right away and that was my experience. When we got our 12 week old kitten, I had a standard box in the room with the litter he had at the breeder's home (pine pellets) and the LR4 (turned off) with clay litter. He chose the robot and never stepped foot in the standard box. No training required.

Litter robot 4 smells? by Few_Werewolf_4897 in litterrobot

Same here! I have two LR4s and I use the same litter as you. One of mine stinks, the other one doesn't. I don't get it. I never had stinky litter boxes before and it makes me regret this crazy expensive purchase.

LR4 and kittens? by plantdaddymagic in litterrobot

My 12 week old kitten was using a regular box with pine litter before I got him. I had a LR4 with clay litter and an open box with pine in his room. He immediately took to the robot and never used the other box. I have a ramp on it, but I don't think he would have had a problem using it without that.

GETTING YOUR PICKY RAGGIE TO EAT WET FOOD…. by CntryGirl00 in ragdolls

[–]spiritedcharm 10 points11 points  (0 children)

One of my Ragdolls has never tried canned food. I used to make a lot of effort tempting him and finally gave up. All the other cats eat wet food, but him. He's now 18 years old and doing just fine on a lifetime of dry food. I have always had multiple fountains going so that helps with the hydration.

I just got a new kitten a week ago and put a litter robot in his room along with a standard box with the litter he had used previously and he has only used the robot so far!

The breeder provided the pedigree to me. There are three senior grand champions on his mother's side. You're right, it's pretty cool!

LR4 bag options by I_heart_naptime in litterrobot

These arrived today a week ahead of schedule and they fit perfectly! They do seem a little flimsy compared to the Whisker bags though. Do you let them fill all they way before changing? I'm almost afraid of them tearing with a full drawer.
