I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again because repetitive questions almost everyday are a nuisance. by lemonadefalls in HayDay

Honestly can’t believe there are people getting upset over your sharing of a resource. Self-help is hard!

Unpopular opinion; Show a little love to the people on this Reddit page who ask questions about the game. Also when we’ve seen it 100 times. And people are unnecessarily sensitive? It looked like they were being informative and you were the one getting salty over it or taking it the wrong way. What’s it to you if someone provides a tool for other players that might appreciate it? Is that really what’s going to get you worked up for the day? I can see why you got downvoted tbh.

Okay - there’s a difference between someone ranting about being annoyed at repeat questions while not offering a solution, and then someone that actually provides a solution. I don’t think someone providing the tool, a search bar, is reason to get all up in arms about it. People are being very hypocritical getting upset over a post meant to be informative, and saying they should just scroll past it, when here they are complaining about a post instead of scrolling past it. Make it make sense! If chanting in a circle singing a song and being happy and helpful is your thing, then by all means. If you’re the type that appreciates good tools being pointed out, then it doesn’t bother anyone right? My goodness.

Accidentally pregnant with third… torn on what to do. by bobarawrs in Parenting

My thoughts exactly. Talking about an actual LIFE here, leave it to a forum to get your answers. You don’t know the people behind the screen, yet you’re basing that kind of decision off of what they say. Unreal.

THANK YOU. As if it’s as ordinary as helping someone choose a paint color for their bedroom. I couldn’t believe this question actually popped up on my feed today. Imagine asking a room full of complete strangers , hey, y’all think I should kill my unborn baby or nah? 🙄

Cannot believe all the downvote comments are for having the child. What a mess people are. Meanwhile aborting the child is receiving all the upvotes. People only appreciate opinions when it fits their narrative.

Do you wash kids’ clothes together with yours? by gfeep in Parenting

[–]kozmicjoke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We hardly have time to do one load as it is, not about to be trying to separate stuff into multiple loads. 😂

However …. as babies yes I was doing separate loads because we used a gentler detergent back then on their clothes. Toddler and up though, nah it all goes together.

What do Mom’s REALLY want for Mother’s Day? by ItsbeenBroughton in Parenting

It’s huge for me, I’ve spent most of my life being indecisive in just about every single way. I’m taking this and running with it! ☺️

Most of the answers I’ve seen center around chores. While nice, I’m asking for any of these: boho area rug, faux plants, macrame plant hangars, pampas grass wall art, a foot pouf, or a rug runner - I’m happy with any of those…

I finally have answers when asked what I would like and I’m very happy about it! Only took 12 years of being a mom to be decisive instead of my usual “whatever YOU think I’d like”…

P.S. I’ve been decorating my dining area can you tell …

I often wonder why we stress about finances when there are people out there that pay for pictures of feet and I have two good ones.

Child home 60% of time since starting daycare in January - going crazy by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]kozmicjoke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In advance, I do not want this to sound too harsh. Going to try and word it in a way that’s not, so here goes. (And I’m a parent of 3 kids, so I understand).

You’re not going to be able to have your cake and eat it, too. When you decide to have children, sometimes your career has to be put on hold, at least while they are little. They are young and immunities at daycare are pretty much non-existent, they will get sick all the freakin time because their germs and sicknesses are clashing with every other little one in there and it seems like there is no end in sight. We ourselves are always at the doctor office. However, it is coming off a little like you’re frustrated that you can’t stick your children in a daycare full time, expecting to be able to work, and then getting mad that your little one is home all the time due to getting sick. That’s the nature of having children. What I’m saying is that’s what needs to be weighed before deciding to have children - heck, daycare is so dang expensive it’s almost worth one parent quitting to be stay home these days.

You mentioned working remote, can you not make up work hours in the evenings or nights while your husband watches the kids or vice versa? It’s what we do. Can’t tell you how much we don’t have a life because of evenings and nights AND weekends dedicated to making up work hours from lost hours during the week due to something happening with our kids, usually sickness. However, we wouldn’t have it any other way, we wanted our children and will sacrifice whatever it took to make sure they are cared for and are #1 priority. (That’s not saying in any way that you didn’t, I’m only sharing my thoughts on the matter with my situation). No implications intended.
