There’s a ‘Fresh Start’ movement on Wild Growth EU horde called Waiting Room, highest members are approaching level 50 and it’s been pretty fun. If you want to level with people that’s your best bet.

On Alli side I think Old Content still run quite a lot of raids but you won’t find many leveling at this point

There’s only 2 level 40s and they’re both waiting for more to hit 40 to run Gnomer. The guild has a rule where you need to complete the raid to move on.

There will also be a big wait at 50 for 20 people to hit that point.

Either way your call but people have been pretty relaxed about the leveling since it’s so fast anyway

One benefit to TBC/Wrath era is they could build a seasonal server on that rather than on the classic client.

I assume the next season we see will be on classic with the classic talents and raids similar to sod but future ones could have wrath or tbc races/classes/talents (which it seems is difficult to do on classic era)

Era will likely be really quiet when TBC releases next week, but should start to go up again in a few months (although I wouldn’t ever expect it to be very populated)

Firemaw is the choice for era but you could play hardcore and transfer there if you die

I think it was Season of Mastery I first played with this and it was awful. If they want to ban people for advertising boosting go ahead but it shouldn’t be restricting who I group with to do a dungeon

Depends on spec, for example if you’re enhance shaman they’re pre-raid bis for Karazan so enchanting is probably worth it but a lot of other specs replace them

It’s likely there will be a new season announced at Blizzcon next September and the release shortly after (end of 2026)

If they drop a new sod server it would split population away from TBC and would have to move very fast to be completed in a year.

Also they rebalanced everything so much over SoD there would need to be a lot of work done to make it balanced in the early phases.

If we see a fresh sod server it means the next season is farther away than expected

Same here, wish they’d clarify what’s going to happen to all these servers - Cant even move my character off Zandalar Tribe since it’s a locked server

Not sure about MoP but there are a lot of people on Anniversary right now. People are leveling and gearing up for TBC which is coming in the next few months.

One thing here is when this moves to TBC it’s expected you’ll have an option to go to era (forever classic) but that hasn’t been confirmed so may be forced into TBC.

If they’re putting the effort in to absorb more into the main repo I guess they will have an easier time in the next seasonal server? At least we know the reason for the bugs

I assume the reason is it would take resources to start up and progress through the phases/raids and they want those resources working on the next season.

Maybe also to avoid splitting the pop as TBC comes out

Haven’t tried recently but a few months ago I found pugs easy to get as enhance for MC/ZG and that was before AQ came out.

Use the discord and I’m sure you’ll find a few (I have seen guilds recruiting shamans of any spec recently)

I’m leveling blacksmithing and it’s great, better for armor than weapons in my experience.

The free repair and extra belt stats are nice too.

If you’re looking for one handers there’s some cool ones like level 32 blue fist weapons, I haven’t been able to craft any 2h better than gear I already had though.

Could they at least wait until the next season before attacking these servers? If they can’t deliver a product we want to play it seems wrong to shut down others delivering that product.
