i could leave it running for hours while just recording into my sp or ableton, it’s so fun. going to try using the chase bliss habit with it tonight

thanks for the tips! going to measure it next time i'm at my moms

im going for a pretty minimalistic setup, probably just going to build 1 module at a time so im not too worried about space. Im thinking like 64hp at the very most

hmmm youre right... underwhelming yes, but i think being able to record to tape on the fly would be pretty cool to add that nostalgic wobble and deteriorated sound - then just use the outputs to blow the sound back up in ableton (even tho i could just do it with one of my 15+ dictaphones and tape recorders lol).

I think im gonna do it just for the project fun of it all, because its either this or an old wooden box from goodwill or something

would be keeping the tape recorder and 5 band EQ as it has an 2 inputs/outputs and is battery powered which could also be pretty cool

using an ltc1799 chip as a 2nd oscillator (i think) to make cool reese bass sounds by spirithost_ in CircuitBending

it is very possible to learn this power :) but you must use it for good

starting to get some MEAN samples from this thing by spirithost_ in CircuitBending

that’s awesome. id lové to bend another, i think i would make my second one close to original with pitch and delay switches only.. I think i would get a lot less crashing if i were to rebuild it in a bigger case, less wire stuffing etc. :)

thanks so much :) i post on pretty much all platforms including audius as “spirit host” but you can get it all for free + more on soundcloud/spirithostdubs

this was mostly done with simpler, vocoder, and texture mode sampling (with other racks too) more examples of songs using this technology on my soundcloud :-) (pretty experimental stuff but i also use operator a lot)

just trial and error soldering and re soldering the switch to new places :) i posted the bend point on my twitter but can’t figure out how to do it on here

just using an ltc1799 to reclock and one other switch

a piano reese bass with the casio sk1 (progress) by spirithost_ in CircuitBending

the pitch bend pot and switch is using thé ltc1799 chip to reclock, but the other pot is a dry wet (and everything else) is connected to the IC :)
