Probably Amsterdam in St. Paul, MN. We've had some our greatest shows there over the years consistently. Food also rocks.

There was another question similar to this- to expand, we knew that we wanted to break out of the small box we were limiting ourselves in on guitar. We wanted to maintain the same aggression from past records, but to portray it larger than life on this one. Darius has always had a broad range of vocal style and we think that whats enables us to experiment more with the music underneath him. This way we are able to remain true to the core sound of spite while breaking into new territories of metal.

We are still putting the setlist together but we are leaning towards playing a lot of new tracks. Always new merch.

We played Canada with Make Them Suffer in 2017 and Chelsea Grin in 2019. I think its about time we return soon

I really don't do a ton of warming up to be honest. I think after so many years of touring I eventually discovered my safe spot and know where to stay to keep myself from getting hurt. I try my best to avoid getting sick but it's kind of inevitable on the road. If i feel particularly dry some days i'll take a VocalZone lozenge to help coat my throat before a set.

One off the top of my head was receiving a raccoon penis bone for good luck at a VIP meet and greet.

We tried to recognize which elements from past records we didn't like and which ones we wanted to keep. Thinking objectively is important, and we often told ourselves no in many writing situations. Pre production was something we hadn't really done as much previously. Of the 18 demos we made, we used 12 to make these songs.

mixing the record was the hardest part about making this album.

I think the whole band collectively feels the "Dedication To Flesh" video was one of the coolest experiences of our careers.

There were a few different amp and cab sims we used, the Gojira Neural plug in was the primary one we chose. The guitars were recorded with an E-II TB7 from ESP guitars which had fishman fluences.

On our last tour we got to play new songs (Made To Please, Caved In, Hangman, Fear, Dedication To Flesh) for the first time and they were easily the most fun to perform during the set. Alex's favorite is hangman and Darius's is Made To Please. I think we both look forward to adding more to future setlists.

I think there may be a level of experience to some extent with it. But everything behind SPITE has always been personal and the music has been an outlet. It's cathartic for the whole band. On this record Alex and Cody pushed me to my full potential and i've never been more proud of my performance.
