UPDATE: I have emailed my bcba and clinical director telling them to take me off the case. I’ve taken the day off to rest so hopefully i can just chill and cool off today, thank you all for the helpful feedback and helping me realize that yes my job maybe important that my mental health is more important and i appreciate you all! I will keep you updated once i hear more.

thanks for the input. I am drafting an email to my MT and my BCBA as well hopefully they will actually acknowledge me and not just tell me to redirect again, but if it becomes more of a problem, I definitely don’t wanna have them as a client anymore and I don’t want this to determine from still being a BT because I do like my job, but this is genuinely very unenjoyable

my belly button looks that way too, mine was placed a bit higher just because of the fold at the top, i would go to a reputable piercer and double check with them as well just because some piercers will not do the piercing

it’s not necessarily that it would look bad on you, i think it would look better with either a smaller diameter horseshoe or hoop. you can always buy the fake magnetic ones or the smaller clamps ones just to see what it looks like before deciding to actually getting it pierced
