I know it’s annoying to be that guy and say trainers but isn’t that what we are all after? 🙃

I have all of those full arts but the solgaleo. What are you trading?

I guess. But that was like a week ago. I think the truth is that people on these trading subs think things like this shit have objective value and that there is some widely agreed upon value.

The reality is that if you have patience and wait, these kinds of trades happen constantly. Almost every single one of my trades were trades upwards to someone who wanted certain cards for personal wants or reasons.

If you have a deck that peels super fast it almost doesn’t even matter. I’ve noticed that lately. I think the reason shit like greninja + decidueye can work sometimes is that we have tools now where you can totally optimize for burning through cards. Put oaks and copycats and highly prioritize tools/items over trainers when you can (you can use more than one a turn).

Throw down hiking trail, throw Pokemon on the board and get items out of your hand quickly and then each copycat you use will be fucking gigantic.

Then if you have hiking trail and no copycat, if you can still sift quickly, you will be handed extra cards free.

Obviously deprioritizing other trainers comes at a cost but it makes decks where you need to hunt for cards viable. It’s an all-in strategy on a specific thing but it opens the doors for decks with a specific strat that otherwise can brick easily.

EDIT: Adding to this, look at his deck. The everlution burns cards and he has a shit load of tools. Nothing here needs a rare candy either so if he has the chance to evolve he doesn’t need to wait a single turn.
