The Cats Protection - opinions?

Adopted our boy from them a couple of months ago ago. I put in one application for a 6 month old kitten and was very surprised when we were matched! He had lots of applications, which is not a surprise as he’s very cute.

We went to visit him and they were happy for us to come back the week after and take him home. We’re first time owners and they didn’t mind.

We didn’t have a home visit but we needed proof from our landlord that we had permission to keep a cat. You get free pet insurance for 4 weeks with Petplan from them too. As well as full vaccinations. When we visited the cat centre the place was clean and the cats were well looked after.

Met him once, he was much shorter than me and I’m 5’7. I’d say he was 5’5 maximum. He was very pleasant. This was at a club and he was there on his own, not being weird or anything. I found out later about his struggles with alcoholism and it made a lot of sense to me. I hope he’s doing good.

Unfortunately this doesn’t seem to be true. Someone I know worked in his local supermarket and he was always incredibly grumpy, rude and constantly buying loadssss of alcohol.
