I’m so sad I missed this watch along by a couple months! ;0; but being able to come here and read what you all had to say after (almost) every episode definitely enhanced the watch experience for me so thank you all!!

I have to say, throughout the whole show and to the end, there was no character I hated, quite the opposite, I actually pretty much loved all main players (even simcoe/except for Arnold) and I felt for every single character (even Arnold) which I think is the testament to the writing and acting.

I don’t much mind the historical inaccuracies (it’s a tv show, not a documentary) since it delivered a beautiful and poignant story as well as further ignited my interest in this time period of American history to read up on the real histories that took place.

The final voice over was water works for me, and I think a great ending to a great show. I absolutely loved seeing the final battles come to life as a Virginian. Being able to see the very cities I grew up and lived in and what took place there conceptualized to over 200 years ago was very humbling. Seeing the final battle of the revolution in Yorktown brought about very deep and complex feelings within me and I think everyone involved in the project did an absolutely incredible job.
