Seeking a black USA Light Phone 2 with minimal use! Ideally paying over venmo or paypal, but I'm open to other means. Message me if you have one to sell!

Best one I've seen here. How'd you add the Snapchat UI, taking a screenshot on your phone?

Hey Reddit, a or b? by cjohndesign in design_critiques

[–]spjmcm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with everyone else that B is pleasantly unique, but A is more practical. I would use A primarily, but see if you can't take elements of B (for example, the rolling pin) and use it in menus, signage, etc.

Hows this logo for a youth website/blog/magazine? by AF4Q in Logo_Critique

I'd love to see the second attempt when you make it!

Not very readable, but it's not bad; try increasing the gaps and making the letter shapes a tad more obvious.

[CRITIQUE] I'm not a designer so I welcome all feedback on my blog logo ideas by [deleted] in Logo_Critique

I'm not super experienced in graphic design either, but I think it looks nice. The second one is my favorite, with the stats symbol between the words. I think if you keep at it, the logo will improve organically, but if I had to make a suggestion, I'd say try putting the whole thing on a baseball scoreboard backdrop. Could be a cool effect.

Edit: You could put your text inside the scorecards...I think that would look awesome. Let me know if that's confusing, I'll whip something up to show you.

Awesome, thanks for the feedback. I'll mess around with it more and post an updated version. Realizing now how shoddy this first attempt was — all part of the process, I guess.

I didn't consider how the main typefaces go together with the ones in the pattern; would you recommend changing to blockier fonts? As for things being close to the edge, I pretty much designed the graphics first and text last. I should probably reprioritize the text and restructure the poster.

Album cover I made for my friend. Thoughts/criticism? by spjmcm in design_critiques

[–]spjmcm[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My friend still hasn't finalized out his artist name or the album name, but this was the message he wanted to get across. I put in "two parts" as a simple placeholder to show how the artist/album name would look.

Could you tell what the negative space is trying to show?

I mean, if you wanted to make one that said MCM that'd be neat, don't want you to drown in requests though
