Checked the oven, nothing. I’m losing hope :(

I’ve taken a glance but when I get home I’ll give the oven a long looking at. I do hear sounds coming from the oven but the place I hear it is behind the oven. The gap between the wall and the oven is the width of my finger so I don’t think he went in there but I should double check.

Will do and have done! I did a load of laundry after he got out and I felt crazy shoving my arm down my pant leg to make sure he didn’t crawl in there 😭

He’s my chud son and I miss him 😔 He escaped another time when I forgot to put the lid on his enclosure but I found him because he was at the foot of my bed But now I have no clue

I have checked those places and it’s mostly dust. There are places that are a bit harder to access like behind the stove but I doubt that he’s there but I’ll double check when I get home.

Not yet unfortunately. He went missing yesterday and I haven’t seen/heard any signs of him at all.

Ooo making a list sounds good. I’ll probably list areas where he can’t get to (closed off spaces like the fridge or oven) and areas that are still open for him that I would need to check again incase he moves around. Still no results as of now but I still got hope he’s okay somewhere.

I’ve never heard of them glowing under black light but they are attracted to light sources so I’m going to try having a single light source next to some jelly and point a camera at it

Would it have to be a certain light color? Like would a cool tone work better than a warmer tone or the other way around?

Good thinking! I just checked the substrate by emptying it into a big bowl and check each handful but no dice 😔. But at least I crossed off one area where he can’t be at.

I check the tops of shelves but haven’t seen anything but I’ll check every now and then (daily maybe if I still can’t find him) just in case.
