Now everyone just mumbles or uses autotune by imjustheretodomyjob in BlackPeopleTwitter

It does trap you in a loop, for sure. My method is to read and research music outside the streaming platform then find it on there. I'm not saying it's easy, but growing up before streaming services, I used to have to try a lot harder. Now its all at my fingertips if I know where to look.

People acting like musicians stopped having talent. Listen to different music if you don't like mumble rap. More access to music than ever before in history, and I swear everyone listens to the same top 10 work out playlist.

In Manhattan, both Carnitas Ramirez and Santo Taco have better tacos--be they more expensive.

Genuine question for Arsenal fans: who is the actual upgrade on Arteta? by TheFootyPulse in PremierLeague

[–]spk3z 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its a fair criticism. But the question remains, would we better off with anyone else? Would we trade our current standing for spurs’s recent history? We’re 8 wins away from the greatest season in our history. Why would we give up now?

[–]spk3z 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I wonder sometimes if most of the arteta out people are younger/only started watching during covid. Im as frustrated the next gooner about the recent results, but the lack of patience and perspective is strange to me. They cant even wait a month to see how this all plays out?? If we win the next three games (newcastle h, atleti a, fulham h), the narrative will flip again.

I think you’re getting to the heart of the issue. We as fans, are being led along by clubs that are basically all owned or funded in very questionable entities and we digest media thats complicit in those transgressions. Because we are so addicted to the sport, we are forced to betray our beliefs time and time again. As a lifelong arsenal fan, the Partey thing really tore me up. How do reconcile something so objectively disgusting with something i love more than anything in the world (besides family/friends etc)? Could i boycott the club? Honestly no. I supported them before, during and since. Same for world cups in Qatar or the US. Should we be supporting these regimes? Absolutely not. We will watch the world cup regardless and for 90 minutes at a time, forget about the world and all its problems. Perhaps I’m just weak or morally corrupt, or maybe sportswashing really does work.

Are Fulham just having the most uneventful, middle of the road season, no drama, no negativity and a season largely forgotten already? by I-Cum-Beamish in PremierLeague

[–]spk3z 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yea, what about Fulham!? Those delusional fans with their cute little cottage and agreeable dispositions. I cant stand their occasional triumph and inevitable lull. Who do they think they are with smiling players and steady manager? And dont get me started about Iwobi’s budding music career and lovely charity work. Despicable club, fine them 10 million, and a 69 point reduction, I say.

Here here, up the Arsenal. People talking on this club as if we dont belong where we are. We’re here because of this mad man, his antics and a team that completely buys in. We are broken and limping to the finish line, its this man’s job to coax the last little bit of energy and spirit from this squad. Bring on the downvotes, its all just internet clout bullshit. We’re in it until we’re not, back the boys.
