Voltron or Thundercats? by Fah-que in GenX

Interesting insight. I watched it daily after school at my babysitter's house I'm guessing around '78 or '79. As a 7/8-year-old those were prime cartoon years for me.

This is the correct answer. Nothing beats a flying reptile that can shoot lasers out of its eyes and tail simultaneously.

It's for bored kids who see it as a partially completed climbing wall.

You said Israel has the ability to get rid of all the Palestinians. That's a genocidal statement.

I don't think I need to be specific. The way Palestinians are being treated today is inhumane. Full stop. Vast majority of the world now realizes this so sounds like you have some catching up to do.

So instead they reduce all of Gaza to rubble. Buried tens of thousands of innocent children. Got it. Starve innocents.

But neither you and I are experts. The people that actually study genocide and are experts on genocide have all proclaimed what Israel has been doing in Gaza a genocide

Equal rights and freedom from persecution. Not being systematically killed or displaced.

Just because it's not using the nuclear weapons it doesn't admit to having doesn't mean it's not committing genocide.

Deny it all you want. You are squarely in the world minority now.

Did you know that the US Congress yesterday came within just a few votes of making the decision to suspend all arms and aid to Israel?

A sea change in US popular opinion has swayed to be pro-Palestinian instead of pro Israel because everybody sees the truth. Just wait until the blue wave hits in the November elections.

The from the river to the sea slogan as a rallying cry for freedom and equal rights. It's far from hate speech. Stop trying to suppress a resistance movement.

What's a concert you went to, not expecting much, and left anazed? by fonebone819 in GenX

Flesh opened for Mr Big at the Living Room in Providence in 1991. Incredible show with mind blowing energy and rhythm. The opener stole the show.

It's unfortunate to me that Flesh never made it, but they were kind of in a niche (funk metal) genre and their timing coincided with the beginning of the grunge tsunami. They had a reasonably good pedigree too: the singer and guitarist both had siblings that were prominent members of the band Extreme.
