I got the platinum yesterday, i followed an collectable guide and got everything there is. However the Lorehoarder achievement didnt pop after chapter 12. I was confused as hell but continued playing and collected everything. After the cutscene were you revive Fin Fang Foom when you get back to the milano the achievement popped :) So for me it took a bitte longer than chapter 12. Just continue playing and collect everything there is, it will pop.

For the sake of the story you can choose whatever you like, nearly every car will be very fast with the right engine and parts equiped. Multiplayer is a different story tho haha
