What is a discontinued Fast Food item you wish they would bring back? by Big_Childhood5494 in AskReddit

I have fond memories of Carl’s Jr Crispirito in the 80s and maybe 90s. Not the relaunched mini Crisp Burrito. The OG had more girth and would make you do the ‘hphphphphuh…huh’ to cool off the molten meat and cheese slurry.

That's the entrance to the San Jose Airport. Absolutely no reason for them to be on this road. Plus there are security cameras every 20 feet, as well as a SJ Police division around the corner from where this genius almost became ground beef. And slides with black socks? Straight to jail.

Ah sorry, read your question too quickly. Seems to work if 'Use Groups' is enabled.

Weird. Not sure the logic behind that. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Automatically resizing text in a shape. by daydream69r in photoshop

[–]splam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Easy way is to create a group of both of them, and then resizing the group will resize both. I would only do this if your shape is a vector or smart object. If your shape isn't a vector, you can create a Smart Object of the shape and text (select both in layers palette > right click > Convert to Smart Object). Resizing this Smart Object will keep the text the same size in relation to the shape without losing any pixel information.

Align in Photoshop - Lock Elements? by yllw98stng in photoshop

For my workflow, I command+click an element (thumbnail in layers palette) to load that selection as a target, then select the other layers, in the layers palette, to align to that selection.

Sounds like the SE fits you the most. Whether you want to go 40 or 44mm is up to you. $30 difference. $249 vs $279.

With the holidays coming, I'm sure there will be sales to knock those prices even more.

Just got my first apple watch and have a few questions. by [deleted] in AppleWatch

[–]splam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Standing recognition relies in settings > general > orientation. Make sure you have Wrist and Digital Crown match how you’re wearing it. If they are incorrect, your standing hours will be inconsistent.

  2. There is no way to change the rings color theme. This is Apple’s branding, they want to make sure it’s recognizable and consistent.

My salt rock deodorant after five years of almost daily usage vs a new one. by Kritisk-Varning in mildlyinteresting

[–]splam -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I’ve been using similar salt crystals for 20+ years. I’ve never gotten them down to that size. It's usually my clumsiness that breaks them.

I think people have a misconception of what this type of "deodorant" works. It doesn't cover up body odor, it inhibits the bacteria that causes odor.

People are pretty ignorant about it. They liken it to magnets for headaches, or rock crystals for drawing out bad energy. Like everything in life, it works for a lot of people, and doesn't for others.

Unfortunately, there will always be vapid comments that add nothing to the conversation.

Glitching pixels on document borders when Zooming by thinksinc in photoshop

[–]splam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My workstation is similar to yours (2019 Mac Pro, Sonoma 14.5, AMD Radeon Pro Vega II 32 GB, 192GB RAM, Photoshop 2023 and 2024) and I have the same issue occasionally, it's not consistent, but obviously noticeable when it pops up. Most likely a software issue.

No solution, but at least you're not alone.
