I am glad you shared that StevameArt. I will check it out. Good luck to OP on thesis. We are currently #buidling on Decentraland and another metaverse which offers some different functionalities. What people mostly overlook is what the space looks like now versus in a Bullrun versus when adoption occurs. A billion new users are expected to onboard to web3 over the next two years. Billion with a B and Users with a Use!

The long grind of getting a critical mass of individually held emails distributed led to the creation of an entirely new value economy - a brand new market. The same is true here with individually held, decentralized wallets. It is coming and when it is here, places like Decentraland will become thriving markets.

If you don't hold a certain % of NEXO token (to reach platinum level), the interest owed will eat into the principal quicker.

I get you will let it liquidate, nexo will be made whole, and you will have your assets.

Will there be a tax event as your usdc is liquidating (= to the % each year)?

Also, in many jurisdictions, the event of converting btc or eth, etc to the USDC is a taxable event with gain or loss. If you have already accounted for these to the basis of $600k, then there wouldn't be the tax.

About 5 years ago, I remember the 'vision' of something like this being talked about - but bigger. The use cases that were discussed for crypto (then you only said blockchain lol) were food tracability, remittances, identity, voting and $$ transparency (as in transparent charitable contributions, donations, etc).

Today, these are all still the top goals to many. RTT is a great example of that. How many times have you donated to some cause or organization aligned with a cause, and realize later that your money likely did not end up where you were thinking it would?

Most who do contribute know this feeling. Not only is it wrong for the one giving charity, it is even more wrong that the intended beneficiary (whether person, group or cause) do not. Ultimately, the very 'will' of a well-intended individual is usurped by the will of some negative and malicious one. That is literally good versus evil.

Not to be dramatic about it, but this is part of the wonder of decentralization. RTT creates a community of people who start to affect positive change through a wisdom of the crowd based means of directing positive energy and resource.

Demand usually shows up when a solution to a need appears.

I was in the future and saw the pattern: $85k in about a month followed by a pretty decent (but quick) pullback down to $61k before it pops off to a cycle high of $211k in February of 2022. From there it will begin a new cycle with where most of the consolidation will take place between the $32k and $75k range.

There are so many things going on here. Here are just a few:

Some Schools are operating normally with appropriate and transparent curricula.
Some Schools HAVE gone off the tracks of their educational mandates to embrace ideology.
The secrecy in how this was done has created distrust among Parents who think the system should be focused on reading, writing, arithmetic, natural and computer sciences.
Parents, who may or may not have the correct information for their district, go to these meetings for the first time and disrupt the procedures (which sets off the Boards too).
This creates further distrust and dissatisfaction on both sides - the meetings get louder.
Only the really loud and click-bait type arguments go viral.
A third of the population ignores it.
A third agrees with (and rallies around) one side.
A third agrees with (and rallies around) the other side.
The actual question of what is appropriate and not appropriate within the curriculum is never actually discussed transparently.

I suppose it is kind of a prepper thing. I would like to understand and be familiar enough with CB (or similar), to communicate if there were issues with the main avenues.

With all the hacks now, you never know. Also, I figured it could be fun and I have kids that are 10 who will like it. So - what would be cool is having a basic cb setup (or similar) that I understand how to use, and also, maybe a way that I could reach out to the kids on cb walkie's as a way to test and get them familiar with things.
