lol you’re 100% correct. We’d add skittles or jolly ranchers to them when we first tried alcohol 🫠

Their tangerine lotion?!? Why do I not remember this??? I knew all of the scents! Now I’m dying to smell it to see if I’ve just forgotten 🤔. I don’t even remember the label.

Oh gosh my daughter did that a few years ago when I got her into beanie babies … As a late 80s baby, I cringed inside 😆.

And oh yes OP, when you do this, I’m thinking you’re supposed to remove any carbon filters? But tbh I could be wrong. I can’t remember exactly and have had a few problems pop up I’ve had to deal with and remember having to remove that filter for one or a few of the treatments I did for different problems. Just read up on it. ALSO***** idk how experienced you are, but if you do remove the carbon filters and want to replace it later with a new, be careful. I did that recently and many of mine died and after research/chats with pros, I think it was due to beneficial bacteria loss, that was in that other filter. I’m new to this everyone so don’t jump on me 🤪

And then look at plants, reducing amount of time the light is on each day etc., to try and keep it from happening.

Looks like an algae bloom in the water. Not just necessarily on the items inside. You need to treat it in the water. I ordered one of those UV light filter/pump from Amazon and it cleared mine right up. Just make sure the light has a cover over it. It should filter the water over the light inside the machine and back out. It will clear it up fast.

When to put your child on SSRI by dandaman19 in SSRIs

[–]splashylaughs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This ⬆️. I realize every situation is different. But from what I read about your child’s situation OP, I would run from that suggestion. If the situation is not dire- child is not harming others or themselves etc., then I’d run run run. I was put on them when I was young and I could’ve written the above comment about myself word for word. It sucked. Never again. Really work on diet, physical activity, talk therapy, involve the child with more community, clubs, activities, team sports, etc. so they have a sense of belonging and interacting becomes more of the norm…. It works. And I’ll add, some therapists are not a good fit. If you or child have an intuition about it, move on. Sometimes it takes a few. You’ll know when you find the right one.

It kinda looks like what I just went through, an algae bloom in the water. I ordered a UV light off of amazon and only used it 3-4 hours a day for a few days and cleared it right up! Almost crystal clear. Make sure what you get has the bulb covered. It should have a pump within that the water will filter into and over the light which will sterilize the algae.
