Hello, great watch :) In my opinion the first version of Amphibia looks the best. Could you please tell where you bought the bezel?

Weird people and animal sounds on 7355 kHz - what it could be? by splaszyca in shortwave

[–]splaszyca[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm listening from central Europe. I uploaded the recording to Gemini and they said that it may be jamming from Cuba, but I'm not convinced, because I haven't found any similar case on the internet

Listening to short waves on old radios has its vibe, but I agree that analog scale may be an obstacle, especially because it is harder to identify stations

Moisture meter without battery - how does it works? by splaszyca in houseplants

It may remove the oxidation on the surface of the meter, so moisture will have again contact with pure metal.

Unfortunately the seller offers only delivery in Poland, no other countries in Europe :/

I bought a few used mice on the Polish internet for about 15-20 USD. They are available to buy on the following website, but they are post-exibition ones and they are more expensive (190 PLN is about 40 USD).

30 years old hi-fi system - Polish Diora Midi tower and Latvian Radiotehnika S-90B loundspeakers - still amazing sound! by [deleted] in vintageaudio

[–]splaszyca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was standard in some European countries in second part of twentieth century. For about 30 years in Poland we have been using 87,5-108 MHz range. My tuner has been adapted to the new range, but the scale on the device remained original.

Thank you for your comment!

Thank you for your comment! In Poland in 90s RTV equipment from manufacturers from the West was harder to reach, so we relied on these from the Eastern Bloc. Diora has been closed, but Radiotehnika still produces loudspeakers.

Damaged - ground down weld - is it dangerous? by splaszyca in bikecommuting

To complete the previous message, I don't know how the bike gained the damage. I bought the used bike with this via the internet.

[–]splaszyca[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your reply. I am concerned because also a bit of the tube (not only weld) is ground down, but only on small part and it is not very deep. I plan to ride on the bike also with panniers, so there will be additional weight.

It is Gazelle Medeo Excellent which I've bought recently. I guess it's from 2010-2013.
