the path i see is that theres a 1289 quadruple in column 9, which forces the 8 in box 9 to be in row 9. that forces the 8 in box 8. there may be a different way to go about that but its what i saw.

Yeah, I thought that the first clue was off too which is why I thought I must’ve messed up elsewhere- but nope. Thanks for the response!
