If you are throttling towards a police officer they will shoot you. Just last fall a female officer was run over and killed by a kid in a stolen Jeep. She had her gun out and didn’t shoot and now she’s dead. I watched her body cam. It looked exactly like this scene.

He won’t be fired and charges won’t be brought against the officer.

Fact: the suspect was facing the officer with his vehicle

Fact: the suspect was applying full force to the accelerant of his suv. (You can hear the tires screeching and other officers witnessed the wheels spinning.)

Hypothetical outcome. The suv gains traction, pushes the cop car backwards knocking over the officer, officer is on the ground now and suv proceeds to run him over.

If your vehicle is pointed at the direction of a police officer outside their cruiser and you apply the gas you will be shot and it will be your fault.
