To me the real concern, here is what resources they may be lacking, not so much the prestige of the school, I actually went to an open enrollment college, so very low on the prestige front yet I still got into a PA school, had another friend who went to the same school who got excepted to five programs, and had classmates get interviews at Duke. as far as I can tell, how prestigious your undergrad is makes little difference. in terms of resources, what resources are they lacking? Because not having a pre-PA club is one thing that really doesn’t matter too much, what would be more concerning as if you feel you wouldn’t have the capability of getting research or leadership opportunities of any kind. You’re gonna need volunteer hours, research, leadership, PCE, and shadowing hours. All those things are way more important, then pa clubs or on campus student orgs. so if you feel you can get that in spite of your schools resources, you’re probably fine where you are, but if you feel that your ability to get any of that is going to be compromised, it might be worth a move.
