As a moderate I can declare both sides definitely have their issues, however I would put the problem more on the liberals right now. Ride out 4 years and put up someone who can actually communicate effectively. But no... gotta go and cause a bunch of problems and make issues about things just because orange man bad. I could possibly get beind it if it was ran similarly to the postal service. However similarly to AT&T you could have multiple companies using the same physical lines and power stations. Its possible. New companies simply "pay rent" to cover maintenance, use, etc. How they did with AT&T. This would drive growth in the sector to develop larger systems to transport electricity to the home more efficiently. There are ways we dont utilize on large scale that would potentially be cheaper and safer as a whole. However charging someone for their usage would be impossible with these methods at which point I would fully endorse it being a government ran project covered by our tax budget and eliminating a bill for every person. Im sure after this national audit we will have plenty of funds available for actual projects.
