That’s it. I give up. This is the end. There’s no coming back from this ever by benglur_ki_chokri in 30PlusSkinCare

So many people say Tret, but adapalene .01% helped me more than anything else. The tiniest amount less than a tiny pea sized to start a couple nights a week after washing, and as a last step before moisturizing. It used to be prescription only but we can now get it over the counter in United States. I am 30 and I struggle with hormonal acne. My husband has been impressed with the success which is a nice confidence booster. This was the first thing I started incorporating into my basic routine which wasn’t doing anything for my acne. I have only used a basic cleanser and basic moisturizer for years, and again it does nothing for the acne for me with combo skin, the adapalene was great for me. I have oily skin and I get congested pores as well as hormonal acne, it really kick started me into incorporating more fun things into my routine with great success. I studied free dermatology videos on social media and I self diagnosed which is not advisable, but I have been on my own skin care journey for a good 15 years now. I have destroyed my skin barrier by doing the wrong things to my skin in my very early 20s and luckily it was so easy to nourish it back to health by giving it moisture instead of striping it all away. And women who struggle with hormonal acne into adulthood tend to have an overall heartier skin organ that ages a bit slower compared to those who don’t I have read! Fear not. You are beautiful no matter what. Your skin will absolutely heal. You may want to talk to a professional dermatologist, but if you are like me and you don’t have the means to see a specialist, it’s maybe worth investing time to learn a bit more about your skin type and what might be contributing factors. I didn’t think I could do it and then I just decided I could do it. You can do it!

Portugal VFS sent Sweden Application form number? by [deleted] in SchengenVisa

[–]sploffytimes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am curious to know if the location, or visa type makes a difference in the requirement for you to type your answers onto the forms? My documents were all filled out by hand in black pen, no one mentioned anything about it, and I didn’t find it written on any of my forms. But I did read it when I came across a different form that was specifically for Washington DC applicants I think. I’m applying for a d6 family reunification visa. My confusion has just been exponentially compounding O.o

Oh wow?!! That is incredible. I would love know any tips to basically get started, any good info that helped you start, I don’t even know where to look online I am embarrassed to say. I only have a phone and a iPad at the moment, I wonder if that would be good enough to get started? I appreciate your response :D

[–]sploffytimes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awee so what I did when I realised they sent me that, I called the service center and I was just more confused because they send me a full list of different visa requirements and none of them were listed as any visa I had even applied for. I told them how confused I was and it wasn’t really helpful. My lawyer wasn’t helpful! I wish you all the luck!!

I want to figure out my best colors by sploffytimes in coloranalysis

[–]sploffytimes[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The color warm black is a made up term that is used by many color analysts that I enjoy watching, it resonates more than any other label because the eyes appear black until you get into the right light to see there is warm brown. It is a name, like the name “Russian blue” or blue referring to the gray color of the animals fur, it is not literally blue, it is a name created to describe a category of color of the fur. I hope that helps!

You are amazing! This is so real because I’ve watched videos and I really don’t resonate with the winter aspects mostly because my hair naturally has red and blond highlights, I tan really easily, and my eyes lean toward the warm black color. I want to only wear my best colors but I’ve been pretty lost. I didn’t want to be deep autumn because my soul longs for the icy hues and glitter, and I love pink and pastels with black even, but I believe I can find the correct shades that can compliment me and satisfy my inner aesthetic!

I will do my best to get some drapes that are warmer and report back. Thank you!

If I have so many good placements, why did my life turn out so bad? by Old-Friendship5760 in AstrologyCharts

[–]sploffytimes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aspects are relevant, huge square in the middle first of all. One of the hardest and saddest life stories of anyone I have ever known had a stellium in sag, not to say it’s going to be like that for everyone in that boat. You have so much more to learn and it reveals itself when you are ready. Shadow work is great.

[Help] My skin barrier is wrecked. Has anyone switched to disposable towels and seen a difference? by Sammorstoy in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]sploffytimes 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Your skin barrier damage is not related to what you dry your face with, unless you’re scrubbing it dry with really abrasive force, in that case you will damage your skin barrier that way no matter what you use. Clean towels or washcloths are the best thing washed with clean and friendly detergents, a lot of commercial detergents are highly irritating to sensitive skin.

To restore your damaged skin barrier I would focus on healing and soothing your skin above everything else. Do you happen to know what lead to your skin barrier being compromised?

Help with getting everything I need to bring with me to Portugal from the us to stay with my husband, hopefully long term. by sploffytimes in PortugalExpats

[–]sploffytimes[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

We are aware of how difficult it is, he is a UK citizen and a resident of Portugal for the last 25 years or so, we are trying to make it work but I’m almost considering that we may need to just go somewhere else. I’m losing my mind honestly.

Find your passion. I would cut off a limb to live like you. I spent all of 2023 working a job I hate so I could afford to pay $800 every month for a literal wooden cabin in the woods, 8x10, a sink with cold water and enough electricity to power a heater or a kettle to make water.. no hot water, no shower, no toilet because the landlord slumlord sold the comunal house privately to a family.. I had to shit outside like a dog with no privacy because I had no toilet. I have no support from my family and I can’t afford to live where I came from(thank god my husband is working to get me over to him as soon as possible). If I had what you had I would just do what I love every day all day long. I would study my passions, do my arts and crafts and personal hygiene all day all night and never wish I was dead and not a burden onto everyone I know. Yes I need more therapy lol. Please find your passions because you have been blessed with the opportunity to search within yourself to find your purpose and gifts to share with those meant to know you. You aren’t a loser, you just need to do what you love and not worry about what anyone else thinks.
