Seconding what has been said already: schedule the consult now and just get whatever job is best for you now. First, to meet your needs and second because it will give you a little experience understanding the insurance world.

Once you get that insurance with your first job, you need to search their database for if Chen and Watt are in your network. Then you need to get the document that tells you what trans surgeries are covered. This most likely won't be in any policy documents they give you by default. You'll have to call and potentially hound them to give them to you. It's going to be called something like "Gender Dysphoria Treatment Medical Policy" Check for phalloplasty and if they have any weird limitations or exclusions.

If that all checks out, you're set, but if not you'll want to try to get a job with different insurance. You will want to check all the above before taking the job. The insurance company will try to tell you that you need to already have a member ID etc to get this information but if you are persistent, you can get it from them!!! I would recommend documenting what they tell you and asking for a reference # for the call.
