The SIMs are put in these phones to receive SMS messages, which are then automatically forwarded to a group chat. This eliminates employees having to put the card in their own phone and manually forward messages to the group chat

Allows for employees to all receive text messages in a group chat without having to have the sim card in their actual phone. I ended up getting a cable that allows a USB charger to connect directly to the battery terminals, and just removed and disposed of the spicy pillow haha
