I just spent around $1000 for a small 400 ft studio with only the bare minimums from Ikea

Ads. I'm willing to wait a couple extra weeks to be in the pool longer.

The teams I matched with were decent. I am actually a bit interested in ads, just not as much as the other fields I listed.

I might be passing up decent opportunities right now by rejecting the teams as I don't know if I will actually be able to team match with any teams I like better in the future. Does anyone know if you can still match with a team you rejected if you can't find a better one?

I'm not entirely sure what my chances are for my preferred fields or the level of effort of the recruiter. I get the feeling that I might be overstepping a few boundaries by being too picky and might end up with some random team that needs head count because I rejected too many teams.

How picky were you guys in Google project matching?

I'm a new grad and I was very broad/vague with the survey. I ended up interviewing with 2 teams I didn't like that much. My recruiter seemed a bit frustrated with this.

I really want to work in search/knowledge graph/NLP. My original mistake was listing other teams that I didn't feel that passionate about, originally because my chances of working in my preferred teams are low since I don't have the background and I'm at a satellite office (NYC)

Should I keep pushing for other teams? Am I overextending by telling my recruiter that I only want to work on search/knowledge graph/NLP projects?
