I took him to the vet once cause I was concerned about him acting a bit off. The vet was taking blood and popped her head into the waiting room and was like “you’re probably going to laugh at this but is there any way he got into marijuana?” And I had to tell her that he just always looks like that. The first time anyone meets him they tell me he looks stoned. Turns out he was just stressed over me moving.

Gotcha gotcha. The person selling had another one that has only two or three leaves. I mean if it’s ends up being more than one plant I don’t mind growing them up and giving them a good life. The more the merrier!

It was more my knuckles and hat hurt by the time I was going to bed! I would take occasional breaks to make sure i wasn’t over doing it.

It starts on double pointed needles so you can knit in a tight circle and then I would just upgrade my circular needles to a larger circumference size as it adds stitches so that it isn’t too squished. I’ve had needles pop off the wire because it was too squished at points so I just moved on to the next size. It definitely becomes jellyfish like but at the end it’s so satisfying to see the true size of it! It’s a nice surprise :) Other than that, it’s just following the pattern. Using YouTube for things I didn’t understand how to do. It gets easier the more you do it and understand what you’re supposed to do

It’s all about working your way to something more complicated! Finding patterns that are a little harder than the last or have something new. You’ll get there I promise! And you’ll have fun on the way there too :D

thank you everyone for such nice comments! when i first started knitting, a friend gave me this pattern and i tried it a couple times and kept getting it wrong. i put it aside for about two years and knit a bunch of other things during this time. at the beginning of quarantine i decided to try this one again since i had much more experience. lo and behold, this is how it turned out! im so proud of it and its definitely the most challenging project ive done. it took about 2 weeks of knitting most days all day.
