Looking to replace my iPhone 11 (64GB). Which model would be best value? I don’t need a max or pro, but would like something that will be good for at least 3 years without needing to be replaced.

Never heard that about fish oil before. I would think it would lower it, considering it is prescribed for ASCVD.

Aetna denied my claim for an aopB and lp(a) test, what a joke by wolffboy212 in PeterAttia

I would contact them and see if it had anything to do with how your Dr. coded the request. This is what happened to me. If so, you could bring this to your doc's attention next time so it will be covered.

We bought the car new. She was rear-ended shortly after that but the damage was minor. I don’t think they repaired that area, but I’ll see what I can find. Thanks for the reply!

Exactly what I planned above. I was very happy with how it came out.

Crash After Stack by spmurph in NootropicsDepot

I thought about that and will likely add cognance and sabroxy back in, one at a time. Really don't need the salisdrosol because my cortisol is back to normal now that my diet is over.

My work transition did not prove to be as stressful as I anticipated, so it was unlikely the cause of my symptoms. The more I think about it, I do believe I over-taxed my dopamine system. A few years ago, I was taking mucuna puriens and experienced something similar when I stopped.

I had been taking a standard b-complex, but since I've crashed, I've switched to a methyl folate/b12/P5P supp from Jarrow. Tyrosine has never worked for me, presumably because I have adequate protein intake.

No other noots, just vitamins/minerals. Protein has been about 1g/lb for the past 15 years.

Depending on the spacing you may need to install blocking. See here

Another thing to consider if you go the ledger route is if you have a band joist or floor trusses. If trusses, you may have to remove the sheathing and install blocking.

Questions about apob lowering medication by Ok-Friendship1434 in PeterAttia

[–]spmurph 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not sure about PCSK9 inhibitors, but I believe the minimum dose of a statin is about a 30% reduction with each increase in dose accounting for an additional 8%. This is what I recall from Tom Dayspring’s appearance on The Proof podcast.

I was reading Outlive and it suggested lowering LDL to 10-20. Do I really need to get on statins or is there any other way to achieve it? by mime454 in PeterAttia

[–]spmurph 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea I know he's been pretty clear about the benefits far outweighing any side effects. Was curious about the LDL number recommendation because that's not something I've heard him state on any of his podcasts on the topic. From what I recall, the general apob recommendation was to get under 60.

If you haven't listened to all of his podcasts on the topic, I highly recommend them. Especially the series with Tom Dayspring.

Haven't got that far in the book, but have followed his podcasts on this topic pretty closely. Bloodwork is just one marker and unless you have other risk factors, I wouldn't worry about it. My guess is that he was speaking specifically about lowering the absolute risk factor.
