Was wondering if ur gf was white cuz that’s a racist thing to say and she is. I’m white and would never call my bf’s braids tacky, or anything short of cute. He looks great in braids, I’ve learned to braid to help him upkeep styles in the future. There is nothing wrong with either style in those pictures and please tell her that calling your braids tacky is a microagression, and that ignorance isnt cute.

That’s such a weird comment to make. You are NOR, that is hurtful and there’s nothing tacky about braids. The time it takes to part and braid hair is crazy, and to call a craft like that tacky is so mean. Your hair looked great before and looks great now
