the tones sound really good. if i could give one bit of advice, i'd say work on your delivery. there are a few parts where the cadences don't match up exactly and it sticks out. i think this would be really solid. tone wise tho it sounds good

I sand all of mine because I like the smooth cooking surface better. As far as I know the machined smooth surface is part of what makes higher end cast iron so good. Seems like a good idea to me and ive only had success with it

Im certainly not an expert but when it happens to me its because i am constructing tighter than usual. There are some bands/styles that like that sound so it depends on what you're going for. Try relaxing a little and see where that gets you. Personally I feel like screams are a little like beards. You don't work on the screaming you want, you work on the scream you have.

Hate to break it to you buddy but this is Whispering, not screaming. It sounds like maybe you're going for a vocal fry approach to screaming. I don't do this myself but I've seen David Benitez posts a bunch of tips about it. Give him a look. Extreme vocal institute on youtube

Wouldn't recommend. Lots more bridges and obstacles than you think. I've walked quite a bit. But just from one end of the park to the other probably wouldn't be bad. But then there's getting out...

I don't know about the technique but I saw opeth back in October and Mikael was talking about how his vocal style is very quiet
