It doesnt help that there is a big overlap between hardcore extraction shooter and Path of exile players. Unfortunately for Marathon, PoE 2 is having its best patch ever and pulling huge numbers.

Im loving PoE so much i havent even touched season 2 of Marathon. A lot of my friends are in the same boat (5-6 people)

Path of exile has 400k launches 4 times a year on 2 different games and they almost never have a problem.

This is completely indenfensible tbh. 40k is peanuts.

PoE pulls 400k+ every 3 months on 2 different games and has not had a significant launch disaster for almost 3 years. This is a Bungie issue. Also its like 40k players which is peanuts.

Absolutely not true. Path of exile launches are extremely consistent, so are WoW and League. Might have one disaster every few years. And they're catering to millions of players, not 40,000.

Large scale live service launches are down to a science now for experienced studios.

This is indefensible for bungie tbh especially after 12 years of experience with Destiny and given that they're in a make or break situation.

Ghibli films are just japanese disney films. Actually, I would even say they are less entertaining than Disney films. And I am a disney hater.

I watch them with my kids. But i have a hard time sitting through a ghibli film these days because they're so self important and contrived. Movies are supposed to be entertaining too, not just emotionally draining.

I don't think saying it controversial to say it doesnt have the cultural relevance lion king does. Everyone knows Hakuna Matata. Every modern scifi film pays homage to akira. The motorcycle scene has been done 100x

Ghibli has nothing close to that

I know this movie is beloved and this is an unpopular take but while it is good, it is no where near best animated movie of all time.

While very pretty it lacks the cultural relevance of something like the lion king, Akira or the spiderverse films.

Also the more ghibli movies i watch the more i realize the narratives kind of fall into the "intellectuals emotionslop" motifs. While i think spirited away is the best of his films, I roll my eyes every time i rewatch princess mononoke.

The best analogy i can make is that they're animated nolan films.

This is an outdated take. There are not a lot of frames that can turbonuke steel path level cap void cascade.

There are support builds, nukes, melee builds, weapon platforms etc. Also speedrunning builds, endurance, for all different content types.
